About Dr. Tsiaka
Maria Tsiaka, BA, PhD is a psychologist, systemic family-therapist and Founder and Executive Director of the Hellenic Center for Eating Disorders, a profit support and outpatient treatment facility established in 2006 in Athens, Greece. She has been working on the field of eating disorders since 1997.
She has studied and practiced the cognitive interpersonal maintenance model on Greek families and investigated its applicability on bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder in collaboration with Professor Janet Treasure, Maudsley, London, England.

About Dr. Crotty
Dr. Crotty has opened the first private TBT-S clinic that offers 5-Day TBT-S Treatment Programs for adolescents and adults. It is called "Brain Based Therapy NW." Research shows that short-term intensive treatment approaches bring more effective outcomes than weekly outpatient therapy. Her treatment program is offered to augment ongoing eating disorder therapies. Dr. Crotty's experience in the clinical applications of TBT-S has positioned her to become an excellent trainer for professionals who want trained in TBT-S to fill in the gaps in their eating disorder treatment approaches. She has worked in the field of eating disorders since 2009.
Kristin Stedal, PhD TBT-S Certified Trainer

Dr. Stedal is a licensed clinical psychologist and senior researcher in eating disorders at . She has researched neurocognitive functioning in anorexia nervosa since 2008. She is a senior researcher and psychologist at Oslo University Hospital, Division of Mental Health and Addiction, Centre for National and Regional Mental Health Services, Regional, Department for Eating Disorders. Dr. Stedal is a TBT-S Training Institute Partner.
In 2017, Dr. Stedal initiated TBT-S in Norway and facilitates its continued adoption to Scandinavia. In 2024 she has received a Norwegian government grant for a multisite RCT to study the efficacy of TBT-S.
She has provided TBT-S training and TBT-S adult 5-day treatment programs since 2018 in Oslo.
